Quetta: Kashish Chaudhary has made history as Balochistan's first Hindu woman to be appointed as an Assistant Commissioner, a groundbreaking achievement that is being recognized as a milestone for diversity and merit in the province.

Hailing from the remote town of Noshki in Chagai district, Chaudhary earned the prestigious position by successfully clearing the rigorous Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination. Her success at a young age is being celebrated as a symbol of excellence and inclusion.

In recognition of her achievement, Chaudhary met with Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti at the CM Secretariat in Quetta, where she was accompanied by her father, Girdhari Lal.

Chief Minister Bugti commended her accomplishment, describing her as "a source of pride for Balochistan and the entire nation." He added that Chaudhary's success demonstrated the potential of Balochistan's daughters to excel, even from the most remote areas.

Expressing her gratitude, Kashish Chaudhary emphasized her commitment to public service, highlighting her dedication to supporting youth, women, and marginalized communities. She praised the BPSC for its transparent and merit-based examination process, ensuring equal opportunities for candidates from all backgrounds.

"I am thankful to the Government of Balochistan for trusting a young woman from a minority community," she stated. "My journey has just begun, and I aspire to be a strong voice for those who are often unheard."
